Approval of the Safety Plan
Each contractor prepares its Safety Plan based on the prior study. I review that plan, request any required corrections and formally approve it through a written record, leaving the site ready to start with legal backing.
Construction phase
The coordinator does not replace each company's prevention officers: they articulate and coordinate them to avoid risk interference. This is what I cover during your project's construction phase.
Each contractor prepares its Safety Plan based on the prior study. I review that plan, request any required corrections and formally approve it through a written record, leaving the site ready to start with legal backing.
When plumbers, electricians and bricklayers work at the same time, I coordinate the work areas to avoid risk interference between concurrent companies, applying the principle of preventive action to the real execution of the site.
Self-employed workers are also integrated into the coordination: I ensure they apply the common safety measures and align with how the rest of the site operates in preventive terms.
I adopt the measures needed to control who enters the site, so that only authorised people have access and the exposure of third parties to the site’s risks is reduced.
I am the custodian of the site’s Incident Logbook. In the event of serious and imminent risk I can record the deficiency and stop, fully or partially, the affected work areas until it is resolved, protecting both people and the developer.
Tell me about your project and I'll confirm whether coordination is required and how I can help.
